Warehouse Supervisor
We are a packaging distributor and material converting company looking for a warehouse supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in Charlotte, NC and ensure the efficient and timely delivery of our products. You will be responsible for managing the warehouse staff, maintaining inventory records, coordinating with customer service and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
As a warehouse supervisor, you should have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Once trained, you must be confident running our company software and executing searches and reports to enhance quality of warehouse operations. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and train warehouse staff on best practices and procedures
Monitor and manage inventory levels and transactions
Ensure accurate and timely shipping and receiving of goods
Coordinate with customer service for any customer or vendor concerns
Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
Enforce warehouse policies and regulations
Report and analyze warehouse performance and metrics
Identify and implement improvements and innovations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar role
Knowledge of warehouse software and MS Office
Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks and pallet jacks
Strong organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Teamwork and collaboration skills
