We are looking for a Sr. Cloud / DevOps Engineer. This is a full time permanent hire position with our client. You can work
100% remote (anywhere in USA) for this position. In this role as a Sr. Cloud / DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for company’s cloud environments, components-maintenance, optimization, issue analysis, automation, consulting and planning of cloud solutions. You should be able to work within established processes, and be able to leverage the latest tools, automation, and best practices.Responsibilities for a Sr. Cloud / DevOps Engineer:- Design, create and maintain company’s cloud solutions
- Automate cloud related tasks
- Maintain cloud environments in Azure and AWS
- Automating service deployment and maintenance tasks
- React upon support requests and monitoring alerts
- Analyze productive issues
- 8+ years of hands on experience in an Infrastructure related role
- 4+ years of experience building, delivering, and managing public private and hybrid cloud computing platforms (Azure /AWS) and other open source and commercial DevOps technologies
- 4+ years of hands on experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Ability to read and write complex scripts to automate system deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Experience using source code management tools
- Experience with relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres) with the ability to write SQL commands and identify and resolve performance issues
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience
- Managed Services experience, e.g. ITSM & ITIL, for a plus
- Valid certificates in either AWS, Azure, Google or Oracle cloud is a huge plus
