Job DetailsIn this role you will be.
  • Design and develop new electrical systems
  • Lead and support the electrical design process throughout all phases (design, construction, commissioning)
  • Create documentation including diagrams, schematics, specifications
  • Prepare and present technical reports
  • Develops schedule and coordinates design activities with engineering team for all projects
  • Collaborate with mechanical and systems team to verify functionality and ensure accuracy of drawing
  • Participate in product review and engineering meetings
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior engineers in design and critical thinking
  • Provide technical support during manufacturing and commissioning activities
  • Develop proposals with risk analysis on potential new products
You will need experience with
  • Knowledge and understanding of codes & standards for product certification (UL, IEEE, IEC, NEC, NFPA)
  • Proficient in electronic control circuits and systems, power electronics, electrical packaging (enclosures)
  • Experience with medium and high voltage
  • Strong skills in communication (interpersonal, verbal, written), time management, and project management
  • Skilled in reading technical drawings, specs or quotations and developing drawing sets for Bills of Materials (BOM)
  • Detailed-oriented and able to drive towards deadlines
  • Self-directed and ability to act autonomously
