job summary:
Position Summary- Supports end to end Technology for programs and projects. Performs project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversions, and recovery.
- Role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projects.
- Manages multiple projects or a single major project. Assists with technology estimates, manages technology solutions for projects to a full-scale deployment in a live environment.
- Manages to timelines and communicates project status.
- Responsible for combining business and technology skills with leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.
- Owns and manages a component of a portfolio of technology-driven initiatives for a single business unit/LOB partner.
- Accountable for the creation and development of technology solutions. Oversees implementation of programs, projects or processes.
- Works with partners to develop and drive technology solutions and business case development across functional groups or within a business domain.
- Serves as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the client/business area and internal IT management for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints, and complex service requests.
- Possesses technical skills and ability to provide technical leadership as a proactive and strategic business partner in the development of functional or cross-functional objectives, technology solutions and innovative strategies
- Plan the project and monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
- Advise the stakeholders of deviations from plans as necessary. Report project progress at regular intervals to the stakeholders.
- Control project expenditure and report budgetary information at regular intervals.
- Manage risks to the successful delivery of the project.
- Able to troubleshoot and solve problems in a customer focused environment
- Agile methodology or scrum master experience.
- Effectively communicate and document business and IT information in line with approved processes and procedures.
- Balance technical and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technical and business subject matter experts.
- Develop, define, and build project documentation that will enable business change.
- Produce and maintain all project documentation in all required enterprise tools and obtain agreement from stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate and co-ordinate across different groups.
- Able to work accurately with good attention to detail.
- Able to deliver quality solutions to project deadlines
