Looking for a part-time, temporary position allowing you to be outside enjoying amazing lake scenery? Then OWASA may have what you are looking for.
Seeking to fill a Part-time, Temporary Lake Assistant position. This person would assist with weekend operations of University Lake and Cane Creek Reservoir during recreational season. Assignment is from late March through early November, working weekends, up to 29 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating mowers and other landscaping equipment.
Renting recreation equipment to lake patrons and helping to enforce lake rules and safety.
Evaluating private boats and motors.
Housekeeping of building and other areas as needed.
Position requires exerting 10-25 pounds frequently and 50-100 pounds occasionally. Candidates need to have a valid NC Driver’s License and be at least 17 years old.
