Network Administrator

Description Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for a Network Administrator at a growing firm. To excel in this position, you should be a results-oriented problem solver who is passionate about establishing and sustaining a stable network infrastructure. You will develop, administer, and maintain the network infrastructure to support the business by ensuring security, integrity and high-availability of enterprise systems and related components. The software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems you will work with change frequently. It will be crucial for you to stay current and fully informed through ongoing education. This full-time opportunity is for a Network Administrator who will work in the Salisbury, North Carolina, area.Your responsibilities- Upgrading network software and hardware- Troubleshooting and resolving issues regarding local area networks / wide area network, including performance and connectivity problems- Administering LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures- Controlling the operation of services related to all local area networks and wide area networks, while adhering to company policies and procedures Requirements - Knowledgeable of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations- 5+ years of relevant experience- Highly capable of troubleshooting, analyzing and diagnosing issues- Basic Network Troubleshooting experience- Switch Routers experience- Router Switches experience preferred- Ethernet experience highly desired- Ethernet experience preferred- Previous experience with production and on-call environments Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
