Low Voltage Technician

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 per Hour

Full-time Position – 40-Hour Week At least 5 Years’ Experience Required

Integrated Networks is building connectivity specialists to handle an array of technology solutions including fiber and copper cabling, data networks, video surveillance, access control and wireless networks.We are seeking an organized, reliable, and driven Low Voltage Technician to work as part of our field service team to install, troubleshoot, and repair various technology solutions in commercial environments. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality service and excited by complex problems and challenges. Travel is minimal, the majority of our work is within an hour of our office.

Responsibilities – Low Voltage Technician:

Installation of support structures (J-hooks, cable tray / ladder rack).

Pull low voltage cable, Cat 6, coax and fiber optic cable.

Dress & route cables into closets, doors, walls & other work area outlets.

Installation of mag locks, electric strikes, REX and readers.Minimal conduit bending abilities, including experience with EMT and IMC.

Fire stop various types of cable penetrations.

Capable of terminating and testing Cat 6, 18/2, 22/4, composite and fiber optic cable.

Qualifications/Requirements – Low Voltage Technician:

5 years of experience in installation and maintenance of all low voltage cabling and electronic devices associated with data networks, cameras and access control.

Must be familiar with all EIA/TIA, NEC and BICSI standards

Ability to work at heights from ladders or scissor lifts.

The ability to install, terminate and test low voltage cables including fiber optic, Cat6, coax and low voltage cables. conduit pathway experience is a plus.

Must be able to complete various safety certifications as well as product training and certifications.

Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to work days or occasional late shifts.

Must be able to work at height from a ladder or man lift safely.

Must be a motivated "self-starter".

Must be able to communicate efficiently, orally and written with staff and customers.

Must have good problem-solving skills.

Must be very reliable and prompt.

Must be able to lift in excess of 75 pounds.

Must have a valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record.
