LOOKING for Estimator/Project Manager

Must have experience with Division 7/ Waterproofing

Duties:

- Oversee the estimating process for construction projects, ensuring accurate and timely completion of bids

- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project scope and requirements

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimates

- Analyze project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing

- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for construction projects

- Present estimates to management and clients, explaining the basis of the estimate and any assumptions made

- Track and manage changes to project scope that may impact cost estimates

- Provide support during contract negotiations and assist with contract administration

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)

- Proven experience in construction estimating or related role

- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques

- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Planswift or similar programs

- Excellent negotiation skills to obtain competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and other technical documents

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to accurately estimate project costs

- Familiarity with cost control methods to ensure projects stay within budget

- Project management skills to effectively manage multiple bids simultaneously

-Experience with working with Division 7 (specifically WATERPROOFING) and Concrete
