Landscape Maintenance Staff - Crew Members and Foreman

Velit Services is looking for a motivated new staff for landscape maintenance positions. We a commercial landscape company offering landscape maintenance, irrigation, storm water, snow and ice, lighting and more.

Job Description:

Mowing of turf, edging, line trimming, blowing, and basic weed control spraying

Drive a truck and trailer when needed (Foreman & Assistant Foreman Positions)

Assist in completing BMP/SCM Reports when needed

Assist with snow & ice operations in the winter (Plow Trucks, Equipment, Sidewalk Crews, Salting Trucks, Etc.)

Complete daily electronic work orders

Complete equipment maintenance and safety inspections

Washing of trucks and equipment as needed

Job Requirements:

-Minimum of 2 years of verifiable landscape maintenance experience (Commercial Preferred)

-Ability to operate all grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively

-Must have reliable transportation to and from work

-Must have a Valid Drivers license and be insurable

-Good communication skills and be professional

-Follow all company safety and procedure policies

-Must obtain your pesticide license within the first year (We will assist you in obtaining it- Foreman Positions)

-Be on time

-No smoking on sites, in vehicles, etc.

-Must be able to lift up to 50lbs when needed

-Able to work outside in all weather conditions throughout the year

-We will perform a criminal background check

-Drug Free Company

Hours: Normal Hours- Mon. - Fri. 6:30am - 3:30pm to 4pm

Snow and ice storms require evening and weekend work. Also, you get extra pay for storm events

We will pay your yearly license renewal fees while employed

Pay: Hourly - Crew Members- $17.00 - $19.50 an hour depending on experience

Foreman- $20.00 - 24.50+ an hour depending on experience and any licenses or CDL
