Location: Charlotte, NC (Initial 1 month Remote)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

Information Technology Engineering Manager
  • This team is dedicated to working with business and support areas to ensure the groups operate efficiently and effectively to meet the business’ strategic goals.
  • The team supports cross department initiatives and drives them through in the across globe, as well as helps find solutions for operational, commercial, and strategic issues facing the business.
  • In this role you will take responsibility for driving business change and improvement across our Information technology team under CTO whilst simultaneously playing an integral role in the delivery of business change and dealing with and coordinating resolution on a diverse range of information technology projects.
  • You will be involved in delivering various internal projects that have an impact business-wide, working with cross-divisional stakeholders of different seniority.

Responsibilities for Engineering Manager:
  • Assign tasks to engineers
  • Gauge progress of various projects
  • Communicate effectively with customers
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create new products
  • Propose budgets for various projects
  • Create reports to give updates on projects
  • Attend trade shows and conferences
  • Train new employees

Qualifications for Engineering Manager:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and software development
  • 3 + Years of working with onshore and offshore delivery team
  • 3+ Years of experience in product development using cloud eco-systems
  • 3+ Years of experience in Java, python, SQL
  • 2+ Years of experience in DevOps and automations
  • 1 + Years of experience in people management
  • Great analytical and math skills
  • Incredible problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with many other teams
  • Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product
  • MBA or Master's in engineering preferred
  • Interpersonal skills to manage a team on engineers
  • Ability to give constructive criticism
  • Ability to make decisions quickly
