Information Security Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking an Information Security Engineer that will design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutionsSummary:This team is responsible for ensuring the stability of security products designed for the Unix/Linux platform and helping connect tools and processes. The team works with partners to understand business processes and requirements and then provides consulting and solutions design to enable risk mitigation across the UNIX/Linux distributed platform. The Information Security Engineer will be partnering with multiple technical environments to research, analyze and incorporate security controls to include technologies such as SSOD (Single Sign On for Databases) PMUL (privileged Management Unix Linux) BoKS Authentication and Authorization. The Information Security Engineer is required to script in the UNIX Shell environment to include Python, Perl, and MySQL.REQUIREMENTS: 6+ years of Unix experience 4-6 years of Linux experience 4-6 years of Red Hat Linux experience 4-6 years of experience with Automation - Python 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training 2-4 years of Database experience 1-2 years of experience with Active Directory Additional Skills: Jira, confluence, Shell Scripting, SLDAP, SSHThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
