Web Developer

Our client - a major utility firm based out of Long Island, NY - has an immediate need for an experienced Web Developer. The particulars of the position are as follows.The various levels of Web Developer reflect the breadth and depth of skill as well as extensive experience in the IT industry as a web front and back-end developer. More advanced individuals will develop high-level design and graphic user interfaces, and integration with SharePoint and other CMS applications. They serve as the focal point for all web-based applications and support.Responsibilities & Skills Provides expert knowledge in one or more fields of specialization in Web administration and development for the organization. Requires proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3. Have a working knowledge of Adobe Business Catalyst CMS or WordPress / equivalent Content Management Systems Have experience with responsive frameworks, development, and design. Good design, User Experience (UE)/User Interface (UI) experience is needed, with an understanding of SEO principles.
