Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for talented
Snowflake DevOps Engineer ConsultantHybrid commute, 3 days from office.Consulting position, initial term is about 6 months with possible extensions and option to hire.Hourly Rate: $90-100/h on W2. C2C is also an option. Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in US - NO H1 Visa support for this role Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snowflake DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Azure and architecting to join our team. As a Snowflake DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining the environment to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance. Having a DevOps background is required as well! Responsibilities:- Design, build, and maintain our Snowflake architecture and infrastructure on Azure cloud
- Develop automation and orchestration scripts to streamline the deployment and management of Snowflake resources
- Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake environment to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data pipelines are well-architected, scalable, and optimized for performance
- Implement and maintain security and compliance standards for Snowflake and Azure infrastructure
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake and Azure technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our infrastructure
- DevOps background
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience working with Snowflake on Azure
- Experience with architecting and managing large-scale data platforms in Azure, including storage, compute, and networking
- Strong experience in automation and scripting using tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, and Bash
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
