Responsibilities
- Customers hunting via phone, internet, fieldwork, referrals, industry networking, and trade shows.
- Identifying and generate new sales opportunities and sell company’s logistics services.
- Take responsibility for revenue and profit target.
- Contacting customer via phone, email, zoom meeting and face-to face meetings and present proposals and solutions, and close the business.
- Providing price offers for new requests, efficiently responding the customer’s inquiry and maximum the number of orders.
- Effectively communicating with internal team on pricing, service, and implementation.
- Establishment/ renewal of contractual relations with existing customers.
- Negotiate the agreement, including price, services, terms and conditions, etc. Review and renew the agreement at the end of the term.
- Establish credit terms with clients, manage account receivable and freight collection.
- Reviewing weekly/monthly sales activities and prospective customers with the management.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Experience with Air freight sales with proven record – obligatory.
- Additional experience with air, ocean and customs brokerage services (sales or operations) - would be an asset.
- Understanding of the United States transportation industry.
- Strong relationship building, negotiation skills, and business acumen.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of a customer’s organization.
- Ability to collaborate internally with all levels of sales resources and other team resources
- Ability to balance attention to detail and a quick execution time.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Aggressive, competitive, resilient attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to travel, as needed
