Role: Post Support Engineer (44392) Duration: 6+months Location: New York, NY (onsite) Position Overview: The primary purpose of the Post Support Engineer is to provide L1 & L2 support for clients 30R post-Production environments. The core responsibilities include (but are not limited to) providing break/fix support via our ticketing system as well as building, deploying, testing, and supporting our on-prem environments. Other duties include documenting new products and processes and creating upgrade procedures where applicable. The position requires a thorough understanding of various non-linear editing applications, storage, and encoding systems. The position will be supporting some of the most recognized brands on the network. Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years’ experience
- MacOS automated deployments using JAMF
- Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud
- Avid Pro tools support of both software and hardware
- Stornext file systems
- File system administration (NFS, SMB & CIFS)
- Virtualization and VMware Technologies
- System vulnerabilities and security issues
- PCOIP experience using Teradici and Leostream
- Knowledge of Active Directory group management, routing, firewalls, TCP/IP, and DNS
