Media Analytics Manager
Description • Confers with Associate Media Director, Director and Clients, to establish media objectives, measurement and optimization tactics for advertising campaigns. • Understand data capture strategy (understanding what information to capture, how to capture it, with what tools, presented in what manner).• Oversees data tracking, reporting and insights. (Reporting conducted on weekly, biweekly, and monthly basis depending on the client or ad hoc based on individual flight dates).• 1-2 years of management experience is preferred; oversees 3 junior analysts and provides feedback/quality checks their work and is able to train them on how to pull reports from the platforms and handle data within Excel.• Manages the team workstream to ensure that all reporting deliverables are processed accurately and delivered in a timely fashion.• Perform in-depth analyses on campaign performance data to identify and share optimization strategies with planners.• Works closely with media planners to understand campaign objectives, media plans, partners, and creative units.• Works closely with Ad Ops to fully understand campaign implementation, serving, and tracking.• Develops comprehensive and flexible analytics dashboards using internal and external resources to help guide actionable business and advertising decisions.• Meets with technology vendors (tracking, auditing, attribution, etc.) to determine best practices and opportunities for client needs.• Understands changing media marketplace and opportunities for the agency and clients. • Provides analytics research for new business pitches. Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications:• BA/BS Degree required.• Minimum 3-5 years of Media Analytics experience required.• Strong mathematical/statistical analysis abilities required.• Highly skilled within Microsoft excel. • Google Analytics and DART experience necessary.• Strong communications and interpersonal skills. • Role requires client-facing communications and the ability to write compelling and concise reports for clients summarizing data insights, outcomes and implications.
