We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. The Systems Engineer will collaborate with the researchers on the team and will be responsible for installing, deploying, supporting, automating, and maintaining the tooling, software/hardware dependencies, and other dependencies required to conduct proofs-of-concept (PoCs), studies, and experiments in our on-prem lab and sandbox VPC environments in AWS cloud and other cloud providers.Specifically, you will:

  • Install, configure, deploy, support, and maintain the tooling, software/hardware dependencies and other dependencies that are required to conduct PoC’s, studies, and experiments in an on-prem lab or sandbox VPC environments in AWS cloud and other cloud providers
  • Partner with the Infrastructure and InfoSec teams to trouble-shoot issues and to align with best practices and standards at the firm
  • Explore and experiment with emerging hardware, firmware, and software frameworks in collaboration with the researchers on the team
  • Explore opportunities for automation across various activities of the innovation team.
WHAT’S REQUIRED Bachelor’s in computer science, electrical engineering, computer or other engineering and technical disciplines
  • 6+ years’ experience in cloud and systems engineering
  • Experimentation with new stacks
  • Experience with cloud native technology stack such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform and Azure
  • Experience with technologies such as IaC tools, Terraform, docker, Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, and networking
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts
  • Be curious, embrace uncertainty and be comfortable with failure while exploring with new ideas
  • Commitment and adherence to the highest ethical standards
