PART-TIME POSITIONS ONLY

COLLEGE STUDENTS and RETIREES – See Position #6 below.

MUSTS:

Valid Driver’s License

Be comfortable around cats (Must NOT be allergic to cats)

Be able to make at least a 9-month commitment

PLUSES:

Have a flexible weekday schedule

Be available to work Saturdays and Sundays

Be a year-round Rochester-area resident

Be able to make a longer commitment (18-month to 2-year)

Have a college degree

Position #1: Weekend Day and Evening Hours MOST NEEDED

5 to 15 hours/week

Must be available to share a Friday evening rotation with 1 to 2 others

Must have flexibility to work day and evening hours on Saturday or Sunday

Must be available to work at least 2 weekends/month

#1 plus: To be willing to work on both Saturday and Sunday of same weekend

#2 plus: To have weekday flexibility to substitute for other assistants

Position #2: Weekday Evenings and Weekend RotationMOST NEEDED

5 to 15 hours/week

Must be available to work 1 to 2 weekday evenings

Must have some flexibility to sub at least 1 other weekday evening if needed

Must be available to work 2 weekends/month

#1 plus: To be willing to work on both Saturday and Sunday of same weekend

Position #3: Weekday Mornings and Weekend Rotation

5 to 15 hours/week

Must be available to work 1 to 2 weekday mornings

Must have some flexibility to sub at least 1 other weekday morning if needed

Must be available to work 2 weekends/month

#1 plus: To be willing to work on both Saturday and Sunday of same weekend

Position #4: Weekday Mornings and Evenings and Weekend Rotation

10 to 20 hours/week

Must be available to work 1 weekday morning and 1 weekday evening

Must have some flexibility to sub at least 1 other weekday morning and evening

Must be available to work at least 1 weekend/month

Position #5: Substitute and Weekend On-Call Hours

No regular hours/week

Must have some weekday morning or evening flexibility

Must be willing to be on-call at least 1 weekend day/month

Position #6: COLLEGE STUDENTS and RETIREES

No regular hours/week but will be scheduled for 1 – 3 shifts/month based on availability

Must have some weekday morning or evening flexibility

Must be willing to be on-call at least 1 weekend day/month

Weekday mornings:

Assist with preparing breakfast, showering and dressing

Cat care

Making phone calls, laundry, and general household tasks

Transportation to work, meetings, and appointments

Weekday evenings:

Preparing dinner, making phone calls, general household tasks

Cat care

Shopping, social outings, attending performances/movies, gardening, swimming, sewing

Weekends:

A combination of weekday mornings and evenings with more focus on fun activities and outings
