The company operates through two divisions, Retail Banking and Services, and Corporate and Institutional Banking Job Description: MISSION AND OBJECTIVES
- Application and user support
- Troubleshoot trade capture, booking, settlements, and trade breaks issues and provide timely resolution
- Provide level 1 and 2 support for Murex application, on-site
- Effectively escalate to development teams for level 3 support
- Create and maintain documentation
- Must be able to multitask and take ownership on multiple items until resolution
- Facilitate proper communication to the business users and clients
- Work on a shift rotation using a follow-the-sun support model, handing off Mumbai and receiving hand-offs from Paris
- Available on-call for after-hours support on a rotational basis
- Inbox monitoring and batch operations
- Answer client calls and requests
- Participate in incident management follow ups and resolutions
- Answer external client calls, provide technical and functional support to all in-house applications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- Strong understanding of the trade process
- Strong UNIX scripting/development
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong background using Microsoft products (Specifically Excel & Outlook)
- FTP, SFTP, FTPS, CFT file transfer setup knowledge
- Must be able to work as part of a team, use own initiative and be self motivated
- Use of industry standard tools (Service Now/ITSM, Jira) is a plus
- Background in Autosys Job Scheduling
- Experience in Release Management
- Experience writing documentation
- Strong communication skills
