Part Time Maintenance

We are a small apartment complex looking for a maintenance technician ready to join our team and provide superior service to our tenants. This candidate needs to be a team player with a positive attitude.

Position requires someone who is willing to maintain the physical condition of the property, organizing, prioritizing, and ensuring that service requests and repairs are done correctly and in a timely manner, maintaining preventative maintenance, recordkeeping, and other jobs as required.

Position is also primarily on call as there is not a specific schedule. Each week will look different and hours are never the same. After hour emergency service may be required, but not typical.

Roughly 20 hours per month is the usual.

The ability to work outdoors and the mobility and flexibility to perform standard maintenance duties is a must.

Maintenance Supervisor Requirements

Must be able to diagnose and/or repair:

· Major appliances

· HVAC

· Basic plumbing

· Basic electrical

· Irrigation

· Foundation/sidewalks

· Roofs

· Pest control

· Wall painting

· Landscaping/grounds maintenance

General sheetrock and drywall knowledge helpful

This position also requires:

· Ability to deal well with people

· Good verbal communication skills

· Strong customer service

· You will be required to furnish your own basic tools and equipment for general maintenance repairs.
