Kitchen Assistant

Seeking Kitchen Assistant to join the Nutrition Services Department commercial kitchen team at the New Mexico School for the Deaf. These are NM State positions with great benefit options including medical, dental, vision, primarily weekday/daytime schedules, American Sign Language training, and ample holiday breaks.

The primary purpose of this position is to prepare weekly campus food product orders and orders for daily snacks, serve breakfast and/or lunch buffets, and operate the Point-of-Sale software to tally Dining Hall meals as needed. Overall kitchen support is required, and may involve assistance with food prep, dish washing, and other support duties as assigned. All duties are to be performed properly and according to all applicable regulations and guidelines.
