Senior Java Developer

Major Global Bank is looking for a talented Java Developer to join the global development team responsible for the full software development lifecycle of a number of banking applications. You will develop, enhance and support a range of critical microservices and portlets using Spring and Spring Boot technologies.

Qualified candidates will have:
  • Strong Java Development skills, and demonstrated experience with J2EE frameworks, Hibernate, Spring
  • Experience in design, development, testing and implementation of Microservices and Web based applications
  • Demonstrated experience using version control/project tracking/CI/CD tools like GIT, BitBucket, Jenkins and Ansible
  • Web front-end development skills, using Javascript, Angular, and/or other frameworks
  • Experience with Relational Databases, preferably Oracle, and PL/SQL)
  • Experience with Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting
  • Experience working with Agile methodology and large distributed teams
  • Experience providing Production Support issue resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
