CPQ Architect 100% Remote(Onsite as needed) Full Time Job Description:

• Understand Customers business goals and strategic drivers.
• Develop a target business architecture that describes CPQ solution to achieve business goals.
• Develop a target technical architecture that addresses the SOW and stakeholders' concerns.
• Conduct solution reviews with project teams prior to design and development activities and ensure solution is scalable, aligned with internal product roadmaps and meets customers' business requirements.
• Define an architecture roadmap based upon gaps between baseline and target architecture.
• Lead discovery sessions with prospects and customers.
• Provide best practices for various modules within a CPQ Solution.

Must Have Skills:

• Ability to analyze customer's key business drivers, goals, and objectives, to develop a strategy map.
• Ability to create stakeholder map.
• Ability to conduct risk analysis, document baseline architecture, solution context and architectural principals.
• Ability to create solution concept, realization, data model, deployment diagrams and document architectural decisions.
• Ability to define roadmap based on gaps between baseline and target architecture.

Ability to design, prototype and assess architecture solutions. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of cross functional and cross vendor teams and deliver to aggressive timelines. Expertise and experience in Oracle, Salesforce or preferably SAP CPQ with at least 3 successful CPQ implementations completed. Expert technical knowledge of the business specific functional/operational areas and IT technologies involved. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related field with strong analytics and reasoning skills.
• 10+ years of consulting experience related to SaaS, CPQ, Quote-to-Cash, and Dynamic Pricing.
• Deep expertise in the SaaS business model, especially in the CPQ and Quote to Cash process areas.
• Extensive experience in systems architecture, web technologies ( user interface, iron python, JavaScript, web services & integrations), Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing.
• Knowledge of CRM and ERP systems.
• Business Analyst, TOGAF certification a plus.
