A bit about us:My client is one of the largest custom contract Manufacturers of nutritional supplements in the U.S. As they grow they have asked us to help them find a Product Design Engineer with experience in designing and developing Packaging Machines with a strong focus on design for manufacture.

Job DetailsEducation RequirementB.S. in Mechanical, control, Materials, orManufacturing Engineering or equivalent, with advanced degree considered a plus.ResponsibilitiesPlan, conceptualize, and create designs for new equipment.Develop testing processes and perform testing and validation of new designs.Perform engineering calculations to support design work.Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process.Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget.Required Experience and Skills5-7 years professional experience in machinery design or combination product design and development.Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products.Experience with mechanical and electro-mechanical design.Expertise in component and subassembly design for manufacturing processes (assembly).Interested in hearing more?
