Job Title: Camera Driver Engineers This role is onsite in San Francisco, CA (primary) Redmond, WA (secondary) Hire Type: 6+ Month Contract (Extendable) Top skills. 1. Camera device driver 2. MIPI CSI/DSI, i2c, SPI, ISP, video processing, VP 3. Android, Linux, or other RTOS Job Summary: Experienced engineers on Qualcomm ISP technologies and their driver/software stack, mainly CamX architecture, to be able to work on customization, and optimization aspects. Capable of understanding new Camera use cases, come up with optimized use cases and better means of enabling depending teams Should be able to analyze and fix bottlenecks, contribute to re-write efforts of some parts of said driver software stack and Contribute to commercialization effort, including bug fixes Roles & Responsibilities: Triaging, power and perf optimization, and need-basis architectural changes 7 to 14 years of Relevant experience End to end camera system and is familiar with the image processing pipeline. Hardware abstraction layer of the camera and Android camera framework. Integration of camera algorithms on embedded systems pipeline and ensure the image quality optimization of the integration for the product. Hands on debugging issues on embedded systems. Experience with OpenGL and/or OpenCL programming is a significant advantage Candidate should have in-depth understanding of modern imaging and color algorithms, has strong experience on one or more following areas, Candidates can quickly prototype solutions by machine learning tools or traditional CV tools and evaluate trade-offs.
