The Siegel Group is looking for an experienced Box Truck Driver to facilitate the delivery and pick up of company supplies, large-scale perishable and non-perishable goods, and event equipment. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Receiving and properly interpreting dispatched jobs and coordinating your schedule based on location, traffic and distance.

Driving safely and making sure all transported items are delivered in the same condition they are received.

Ensuring that all items that you are picking up and dropping off have been adequately tagged, logged, (cleaned if necessary) by the requestor and quantities do not exceed company limitations.

Keeping the box truck clean inside and out and wash it once a week to maintain good representation of the company.

Making sure you coordinate and communicate gas fill-ups with your manager to ensure you do not become stranded.

Maintaining your time sheet, filling it is properly, signing it and turning it into your manager by the date that it is due.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a valid driver’s license (no CDL required).

You must have EXCELLENT driving record – no tickets within the last 5 years.

Must be available Wednesday-Sunday from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Additionally, varied shifts - including overtime, weekends and holidays - may be required on occasion.

Must be able to drive and work in hot and inclement weather.

Communicate effectively with your manager and peers.

Sit and/or drive for long periods of time, sometimes in undesirable traffic around town or on long trips to Mt. Charleston or Mesquite.

Ability to work in cramped, dirty / dusty, cold or hot conditions.

Ability to provide excellent customer service.

Sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, and lifting up 100 lbs.

Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to company standards.

Must pass drug and background screenings.

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
