Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas, NV based staffing and IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Product Owner – Vendor Technology for a well-established client in Las Vegas, NV. This will be a predominantly remote, permanent opportunity.

SummaryThe Product Owner is responsible for clear communication of product or service functionality requirements to the Scrum Team by writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring the criteria is met. The Product Owner will need to balance new features and product support to ensure the Scrum Team delivers value and quality. They will work with the Scrum team to deliver products to the stakeholder’s satisfaction by reviewing the product with them and ensuring a successful deployment in production.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for collecting requirements from stakeholders on what they want delivered and why.
  • Develop requirements in the form of user stories and define acceptance criteria based on the stakeholder requirements.
  • Must be able to maintain, groom and prioritize requirements and be flexible to changing priorities.
  • Ability to set deliverable goals and themes at the beginning of a development process.
  • Ability to lead and plan product releases and upgrades based on the product roadmap.
  • Must be able to negotiate priorities and features with the Stakeholders, Product Owners and the development team.
  • Must validate product meets all requirements before any production deployments.
  • Assist in coordination between the vendor, team and stakeholders as needed.
  • Lead prioritization of issues arising during production deployments by working with the team and Stakeholders.
  • Providing support to the team using a servant leadership approach and leading by example.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in the following areas:
  • Gathering Business Requirements as a Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst or similar BA or Product/Project role.
  • Managing product lifecycle and delivering valuable functionality to a business.
  • Managing organizational priorities and setting delivery expectations with Stakeholders.
  • Developing Product Roadmaps and conveying future deliverables.
  • Strategic level planning related to Vision and Long-Term Goals
  • Tactical level planning related to Near-Term Deliverables
  • Building trust and working relationships with Stakeholders
  • Project Management Coordination and Managing Project Costs
  • Strong team spirit and willingness to learn and help others
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Self-Managed / Self Led
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form

Preferred
  • Hotel, Food & Beverage, Gaming OR Operations experience at a Hotel/Casino OR Hospitality/Gaming Technology Manufacturer (IGT, etc.)
  • Product knowledge related to Hotel/Gaming Technology such as but not limited to: IGT, Aristocrat, Konami, Scientific Games, Agilisys, Rainmaker, Key Watcher, Ultra Badge and others
  • Vendor Management Experience related to Contract Management, Service Agreements and related functions
  • Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred, experience can be used in lieu of education.
  • Product Owner role or other SCRUM Certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks and the ability to apply those frameworks.
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, continual improvement, and empowerment

Physical Requirements
  • Requires normal. Corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Must be able to sit for the duration of the shift.
  • Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
