Job Type: Part-Time

Compensation: Starting $14.00 - $16.00 per hour plus bonus

We are looking to hire a part-time Optician who is highly motivated and excited to grow with our team. Optic Gallery is a private practice optometry clinic that focuses on providing quality eye care and excellent customer service to our patients. By working with us, you will be able to help patients improve their quality of life with improved vision. Our practice offers only the best in eyewear, lenses, and contact lens solutions and ensures a high standard of care.

Job Description:

Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist with the check-in process

Fulfill Optometrist’s eyeglass prescriptions and recommendation for frame and lenses

Complete orders for contact lens prescriptions from the Optometrist

Utilize electronic health records system

Check on status and notify patients when orders are ready or delayed

Perform quality inspection of eyeglasses orders before dispensing

Dispense completed glasses and contact lens orders to patients

Assist with answering phone calls and scheduling patients for eye examinations

Perform insertion and removal training for contact lenses for new contact lens wearers

Ensure all customer service complaints are addressed effectively

Review reasons for glasses remakes and follow protocol to correct

Ensure visual merchandising of frames is maintained

Follow store cleanliness policies
