Desktop Support Analyst

Description Robert Half is working with a local company that is looking for a Technology Specialist to help support front and back-office technology. The Technology Specialist will be responsible for helping staff resolve their software and hardware related problems and serve as the primary contact for all critical support issues. The Technology Specialist will serve as primary owner of business applications, including implementation, updates, maintenance and troubleshooting throughout the application lifecycle.- Provide outstanding support staff while ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.- Serve as primary contact for installation and maintenance of new and/or existing desktops, laptops, printers and other peripheral equipment, including periodic maintenance of various hardware/software and assisting in the implementation and maintenance of data security protocols and procedures.- Promptly enter, track, update and resolve IT issues or service requests via the IT Service Desk software and/or escalate to the appropriate teams when necessary.- Possess proficient knowledge of current Microsoft Windows operating systems and productivity applications as well as knowledge of TCP/IP networks; both in theory and implementation.Maintain complete and accurate documentation for all areas of information technology utilized.
