Yard Tech/driver

We are seeking a highly motivated, dependable individual who wants to be a part of a great company. We have a young and energetic staff. BILINGUAL is a plus. We're looking for a candidate who is willing to do multiple tasks as the needed driving, loading, unloading, cleaning, light mechanical work, building upkeep and more.

You will be splitting your time between the yard and driving (delivery/pickup of equipment, parts, errands & etc).

We are a local construction equipment rental company. The duties is for the YARD TECH/DRIVER and are as follows:

Safely drive, primarily a roll back delivery truck (NON CDL Freightliner M2) and pickup trucks, secure equipment with chains to the bed of the truck, perform delivery paperwork (with electronic device and paper) and interact with our customers.

Does require having or getting a medical card (we will pay for it if you don't have).

A clean driving record, so as to get on our insurance.

Making sure that the hours and fuel levels are on recorded every contract that leaves with our customers, record fuel and hours on the return of the equipment.

Testing all equipment to make sure it is working properly before it goes out on rent with the customer.

Secondarily:

Load and Unload our customers.

Check equipment for damage notify the office and service tech of any damage that is found or if equipment is not working properly

Check fuel levels and refueling equipment before it goes back on the ready to rent line

Wash equipment before putting the equipment back in the ready to rent line

Follow safety procedure for loading and unloading and of our equipment

Be able to lift 50 lbs

Be outside in changing weather environment

Being able to work in a fast paced environment

Be a team player and willing to work with others

Perform other duties assigned to you by Management

Must have a valid Driver's License and over 21 yrs old and be able to be cleared by our insurance company

This is a Full-Time position work hours are as follows

Monday - Friday 7:15 am - 4:30 pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break

Saturdays are 8:00 am - 1:00 pm (you will NOT be expected to work ever weekend, no weekends Nov-Feb)

Benefits after 30 days of Full-Time employment

5 Days paid Vacation after 6 months of Full-time employment

Paid sick days (3) after 3 months of service.
