Senior App Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Chesterfield, MO that is seeking a Senior App Developer.Responsibilities: In this role, the Senior App Developer designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional or operational areas Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs Develops conversion and system implementation plans Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation The Senior App Developer recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards Configures system settings and options; Plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements May train users in conversion and implementation of system Codes complex or high risk components Performs complex maintenance and problem resolution of software applications Develops and implements application maintenance plans to address technical and business issues As a Senior App Developer, this role integrates applications applying knowledge of software architectureREQUIREMENTS: Experience using ETL technologies and Big Data technologies Excellent problem-solving skills Deep experience designing, implementing and loading custom data models that reflect real-world problems Expert level in Structured Query Language (SQL) for Hana, Oracle, and/or MS SQL Server Strong experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and principles Familiarity with multiple ETL applications DataStage, Business Objects Data Services (BODS), and/or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Experience delivering analytics to technical, non-technical and leadership teams that influence and support business strategy Strong experience developing visualizations that consume data models for non-technical users Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills Strong ability to interact with and communicate with all levels of co-workers Self-motivated; comfortable working independently under general direction Health care experience, particularly working with data from Epic, Kronos, and/or Lawson Strong working knowledge of database principles, processes,technologies and tools Experience with AGILE/Scrum methodologies Full technical knowledge of applications development tools and methods within a particular platform or technology; instructs and guides others, providing peer review to ensure quality assurance Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of technical design alternatives and the implications of eachKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
