Marketing Assistant

Compass Retirement Solutions is a boutique financial firm that is looking to grow our marketing role with a friendly task oriented person who is looking to grow and develop.

OVERVIEW

The responsibilities and duties of the marketing assistant include but are not limited to; the acting lead administrative manager responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and tracking of the entire organization's marketing strategies, marketing communications, marketing budgets, and prospect/client relations activities, programs, and events.

Directs and supports the collective efforts of the marketing team and coordinates at strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization internally and externally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Communications, Advertising, and Brand Positioning

● Responsible for creating, implementing, and measuring the success of the organization's overall marketing program that will enhance the organization's brand image and position with the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external Communications.

● Establish a system of tracking marketing reports and communications for all information from the marketing team to be presented regularly to the CEO for feedback and other requests.

● Coordinate and Vendors to assist with Automation, Advertising and additional marketing initiatives. .

● Responsible for the overall coordination (preparation and editing parentheses, appearance, and delivery of the organization's print, digital, and promotional material including but not limited to; letterhead, the general use of logo, all branded (unbranded), supplies/gifts, publications, the newsletter, seminar presentation materials, brochures, ad materials, etc., while working collaboratively with compliance per CEOs request and approval.

Marketing Planning and Budgeting

● Responsible for achievement of overall marketing and prospect/client relations programs and their activities, missions, goals, and budgetary needs with the ability to recommend short-term and long-term cost-effective goals and objectives to the CEO.

● Develop and track short and long-term marketing/advertising plans and budgets for the prospect/client relations programs and activities while monitoring progress, assuring constancy, and providing follow-up with the evaluation of performance and ROI.

● Coordinate and manage seminars.

● Develop, Implement, and monitor systems and procedures necessary for the steady operation of the organization.

● Keep informed of developments in the field of marketing and client relations in the specific field of the organization's business and use this information to help the organization operate with enthusiasm and innovation.

Prospect/Client Relations

● Responsible for the planning and coordination of all prospect and client programs, activities, and events including but not limited to:

○ Educational seminar events

○ Client-only events and celebratory/appreciation activities

○ Community/charity events

● Responsible for preparing and implementing client interest surveys utilizing the CRM system to effectively track and update survey results.

● Understanding current and potential clients.

Management

● Providing the planning and Leadership to the marketing department by ensuring that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies, and values are developed effectively in order to meet and exceed the goals of the overall marketing plan.

● Maintain an attitude that attracts, retains, and leads.

● Ensuring that the marketing objectives are implemented by the team.

● Oversee Virtual Professionals to insure task are kept up to date

STANDARDS/KPIs

● Pre and Post Seminar activities are complete and results are shared with the team immediately following the event.

● Marketing Tracker is accurate and up-to-date.

● First Appointment Packets and Book Orders Fulfilled.

● Weekly and Quarterly Newsletters Complete.

● Marketing task up-to-date/ Client Bday Cake Orders are submitted
