Crane Operator

Job Title: Crane Operator

Location: DeSoto

Duration: 12 months

Hourly Rate: $40 plus per hour

Requirements:

1. Experience: Proven experience as a Crane Operator.

2. Certification: NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) certification is mandatory.

3. Safety Certification: OSHA 10 (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certification is the minimum requirement.

4. Location Knowledge: Familiarity with the DeSoto area is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Excellence: Safely and efficiently operate cranes in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines.

2. Equipment Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-operational inspections of the crane and associated lifting gear to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.

3. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others on the project site.

4. Communication: Collaborate with other team members and project stakeholders to coordinate crane movements and ensure the smooth flow of operations.

5. Adaptability: Flexibility to work on a 12-month project with the possibility of extended hours or occasional weekend work as needed.

Qualifications:

1. NCCCO Certification: Valid and current certification from the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators.

2. OSHA 10 Certification: Minimum OSHA 10 certification is required.

3. Experience: Proven experience as a Crane Operator, demonstrating competence in the safe and efficient operation of various types of cranes.

4. Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

5. Safety Conscious: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adherence to all safety regulations.
