Job Title: Accounting Specialist (Newly Created Position)

Location: Kansas City, KS

Salary: Competitive salary, Bonus

Job Description: Pack3000 is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. This newly created position involves analyzing financial information, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities:

Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing payments, assisting with preparing tax documents as needed.

Ensure timely payment of invoices and follow-up to ensure clients fulfill their commitments.

Process and record financial transactions and data.

Prepare and analyze reports from financial data.

Collaborate with account managers to manage account activities and processes.

Manage customer accounts and maintain comprehensive records of ledgers, invoices, and revenue.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Assist the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities.

Provide auditing and quality assurance services.

Requirements and Skills:

Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation.

Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Solid math and research abilities.

Familiarity with data analysis and reporting requirements.

Experience with regulatory compliance and reporting.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Basic computer skills with knowledge of bookkeeping software.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.

Spanish language skills are beneficial.
