Riding Instructor

Majestic Hills Ranch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that offers ​Equine-Assisted Services to Children & Adults with Special Needs and ​Injured Military Personnel, Active Duty & Veterans in Rehabilitation.

We are looking to hire a PATH Intl CTRI certified instructor to help with our MHR Heroes on Horseback military veterans program, as well as some of our classes with children and adults with special needs.

Classes are held Mondays through Thursdays only, and hours vary depending on the day. This position is part-time, with the potential to grow. Hours from January to April are weather-dependent, mainly assisting with Tuesday and Thursday classes. Then, as we begin the spring session, hours will depend on the lessons being taught.

CTRI certification is necessary, for we are a PATH Member Center.

Instructors must be able to work with staff, horses, and volunteers to prepare and lead safe riding classes. Walking on uneven surfaces (sandy arena), lifting and moving riders of all ages and abilities, and dealing with extreme temperatures are all necessary.
