Job description

Base Location: Minnetonka

Select weekend days (not more than 4/ month), weekdays and select weekday evenings, 38-42 hours /week.

Where: 11317 Highway 7 Minnetonka, MN 55343

Position could be in conjunction with another store location during training

Duties:

Category management of assigned product categories, including: order entry into system of booking orders, documenting receipt of product delivery to skus, core merchandising layout, signage layout, sales staff training, re-ordering with open to buy dollars, mark downs, used price and inventory supervision.

Staff engagement

Shift Lead staff management, when senior Lead on duty.

Allocation of staff to correct roles, break management.

Assist in sales staff evaluation and feedback process.

Appraisal of used sporting goods. Leadership in acquisition of used sporting goods culture and process.

Reports to store manager and area manager.

Hire, train, and lead staff.

Promote customer service by greeting them immediately, determining their needs, and transaction business in an enthusiastic and professional manner.

Gain familiarity with products, features, benefits, and prices for making recommendations best suited to the customers' needs. Maximize sales and customer satisfaction by adding additional items to the sale.

Price labeling goods, merchandising, and cleaning store.

Fitting, sizing and selling sporting goods.

Ice Skate sharpening, light cashiering, etc.

Qualifications:

4-years retail and/or sales experience

4-years supervisory experience, including staff training, reprimands, staff documentation, and reviews, general operations supervision/management preferred.

Staff management, engagement, and development experience

Strong leadership and independent planning ability

Ability to maintain store housekeeping and maintenance standards and procedures.

Self-motivated, responsible, and ability to plan schedule ahead.

Ability to lift 30 lbs. and climb step ladders unassisted.

Compensation: $48,000 to $5,000 / year in base and bonus.
