Landscaper

Building Maintenance Management Inc (BMM) is a local, family-owned company. Since 1987, BMM has contracted its maintenance services to facilities throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area and the surrounding communities. Our customers represent a variety of facility types including multi-housing, medical and commercial.

We have an immediate opening for a landscaper at one of our multi-housing properties in Minneapolis. The ideal candidate will be responsible, reliable, prompt and willing to work overtime especially during the winter months.

As a Landscaper you will be responsible for:

Taking out the trash.

Sweeping and pressure washing underground parking lots

Picking up debris on the grounds.

Will be on-call during the winter months and must show up when it snows.

Perform snow removal and salting on sidewalks as needed in the winter months.

Water garden, planters, and grass as needed

Mowing the grass and keeping the shrubbery trimmed.

Work the scheduled hours and follow the on-call requirements. Overtime may be required during the winter months.

Complete payroll time sheets and submit to supervisor as determined.

Adhere to company safety guidelines, policies, and procedure as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.

Other job duties as assigned. Job duties are subject to change based on the needs of the company and our customers.

Landscaper Qualifications:

This job requires you to be on your feet most of the day. There will be a lot of repetitive motion to include but not limited to bending and lifting.

Able to meet physical requirements as this job involves labor intensive and hands on tasks.

Heavy lifting is required at times. Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.

Flexibility with schedule during the winter months is extremely important.

Reliable and punctual attendance is a must especially during the winter months.

You must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is required.

Strong customer service skills.

Highly Organized.

Strong Attention to Detail.

Ability to work independently or in group setting.

Willing to learn.

A positive, “can-do” attitude.

Maintain a professional presence while on company time.

Must pass Kari Koskinen Manager Background Check after acceptance of job offer.
