HIRING PART TIME SERVERS & HOSTESS

We are seeking experienced, part-time servers for fine dining who understand the importance of maintaining open communication with guests and the kitchen to ensure that all stages of guest meals are timed properly and to create a hospitable environment at all tables. Our Servers/Bartenders are expected to have in-depth knowledge of the menu, including the ingredients, preparation methods, and flavor profiles. Additionally, they must be knowledgeable about our Beer, Wine, Spirits, and cocktail menus, so they can provide detailed and accurate descriptions to assist guests in making their selections. Servers are also responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences, and to do so, they must have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with runners, cooks, and other staff. They should be motivated by hospitality and education in food and beverage service. They should have experience working in a scratch kitchen environment with seasonal offerings, Chef-driven weekly specials, tropical vibes, and wine and cocktail lists.

Responsibilities:

- You MUST be available to work on weekends consistently.

- Be dependable and punctual

- Knowledgeable and experienced in conducting wine service

- Learn the detailed and extensive food, wine, and bar menus.

- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers with a positive attitude.

- Engage with customers in a friendly manner to craft engaging experiences.

- Make suggestions based on guests' expectations and wants.

- Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

- Collect payments from tables.

- Prepare checks that itemize total meal costs and sales taxes and properly enter tips at the night's end.

- Maintain a clean environment for guests.

- Be able to open and close the restaurant properly with attention to detail.

Qualifications:

- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff.

- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.

- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.

- High school diploma.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders promptly.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a reputable establishment.

We are also looking for a part-time hostess available on Fridays and Saturdays. The dress code is formal and the pay rate is minimum wage plus tips.
