Job Summary:

The Full-time House Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of residential homes. They work full-time hours and may be assigned to one or multiple homes each day. The house cleaner ensures that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain the cleanliness of residential homes, including but not limited to bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.

Dust and vacuum all surfaces, including floors, carpets, and furniture.

Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.

Clean kitchen surfaces, including countertops, stovetops, and appliances.

Change bed linens as necessary.

Empty trash and recycling containers.

Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as cleaning inside ovens/fridges, baseboards, and windows.

Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, and notify the supervisor when supplies are running low.

Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the supervisor.

Follow all health and safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as necessary.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in residential cleaning is preferred.

Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Physical ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple job sites.

Ability to pass a background check.

Working Conditions:

House Cleaners work indoors in residential homes, and may be required to work in homes with pets or people with allergies. The job can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
