HELP WANTED: Beutz Dairy is hiring for a part-time farmhand beginning ASAP. Duties include but not limited to: scraping barn, milking cows, caring for newborn calves, etc. Beutz Dairy has a parlor/free stall set up and milk about 120 cows. Candidate must have brief dairy farm knowledge, must be reliable, and love animals. Best part isYOU PICK YOUR HOURS! Part-time employees choose their days and either AM or PM shift (or both). AM shift: 4:45- 8:00. PM shift: 4:45-8:00. Hours may vary depending on if there is a new calf, treating cows, etc. Interested applicants can message me for more information!
Some duties include
scraping barn/maintain cow beds
getting cows to parlor
milking
new calf care
fresh cow/heifer care
Some dairy experience and dairy knowledge preferred, but will train if needed.
Must be patient with animals, able to communicate well, work well with other employees, independent, and reliable.
