Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bridge Engineer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. As a Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing complex bridge structures, ensuring their safety and durability. You will work on a variety of projects, from small-scale bridges to large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bridge engineering, structural analysis, and design. Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze complex bridge structures using software such as LEAP, BrR, and MDX.
  • Develop detailed plans and specifications for bridge construction projects.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the condition of existing bridges and identify necessary repairs or upgrades.
  • Collaborate with other members of the engineering team, including architects, contractors, and project managers.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, AASHTO standards, and other relevant codes and regulations.
  • Prepare cost estimates and project schedules for bridge construction projects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bridge engineering and design.
  • Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
  • Experience with software such as LEAP, BrR, and MDX.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations, AASHTO standards, and other relevant codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in heavy civil projects is a plus.
