BAKERS WANTED - New Scenic Cafe

The New Scenic Café in Duluth, MN is seeking experienced bakers and pastry chefs for production of fresh baked breads, pastries, and other artisan baked goods.

Currently, during the winter months, we can offer part-time work, with the possibility of full-time leading into the spring and summer. Compensation consists of an hourly base wage (negotiable and based on experience) combined with a portion of a staff-wide Fair Wage Share. Further details may be discussed during the interview/hiring process.

We are interested in candidates who are hard working and honest with a strong commitment to detail and excellence. Most importantly, candidates must be results driven and have the ability to work well in a team environment. Good communication skills, willingness to learn, dedication, creativity and the drive for understanding are mustsas is a "can do" attitude and an ability to stay focused and effective even during challenging times.

Qualifications:

- Customer service and people skills are a must.

- Food Manager certification is a plus, and is inevitably a requirement.

- Critical thinking skills are essential.

- Ability to work a dynamic schedule; mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a deadline-driven, demanding environment.

- Must be organized, detail oriented, reliable and self-motivated.

- Desire to continuously learn, grow, and strive to create a positive and fulfilling atmosphere.

- Must hold oneself accountable to results.
