Android Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an Android Developer in Minneapolis, MN.Overview:The Android Developer will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to company standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The Android Developer will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.Primary Responsibilities: Android Developer designs and develops mobile applications across all Android devices Collaborates closely with our product, design, and server engineers Utilize your experience and judgement to make the system scalable and performant Lead/Mentor and guide junior team members Defines and documents the designs for applications and enhancements. Creates, reviews, and may coordinate execution of unit test plans for multiple projects. Identifies opportunities to improve testing process As an Android Developer, you will assist with design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solution Develops high level program specifications; Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved Assists technical staff and clients to investigate, analyze, and resolve highly complex technical problems; Identifies and manages interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurationsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience Five to six years of relevant experience 5+ years of experience in mobile/software development Hands on experience working with Android SDK, Android Studio, APIs, Database/SQL Fluency with Java and Kotlin development Knowledge of cutting-edge Android technologies Strong opinion about design and a desire for building beautiful user experiences A constant drive to make things simpler and faster Empathy for our customers, who rely on us to run their business; All our team members regularly speak with our customers Comfort and delight in a small, intense, high-growth startup environmentKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
