Testing Supervisor – UAT TestingHybrid Location – 2-3 days per week required on-site in Troy, MI

Job SummaryThis individual will assist with special projects and lead a team of testers. This team will handle the testing for key strategic and compliance/audit/risk related processes in Commercial Loan Operations. Responsible for identifying, prioritizing project/process tasks and implementation efforts. Ensuring continuous alignment of scope and strategic business objective, and make recommendations to modify the project/program to enhance effectiveness toward business result and strategic intent. The candidate will be able to independently work with their team and stakeholders to suggest project decisions and enhancements, while identifying and escalating potential financial and business process implications. This team will oversee all facets of process/testing, including creation, kick off, testing, training, manual updates and benefit realization. The candidate will participate in the planning processes for short-term initiatives and long-term initiatives to develop these processes. This team will be responsible for review and monitoring of that all channels of CLO procedures and user guides are up to date and aligned. Leads, instructs and mentors directs, assigns, and checks the work of team members. Collaborate closely with business and IT staff and leaders to ensure process meet business goals and Establish and maintain governance framework and ensure business compliance. Lead a team of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) analysts. Create and execute test scripts for operational processes to ensure positive, negative and regression testing is adequately performed. Deploy UAT testers to test functionality and report results to IT and management. Ensure UAT testers maintain business expertise and expand UAT testing knowledge and abilities to perform additional and deeper testing. Coordinate business testing efforts and solicit additional support from business where needed. Create business implementation checklist process to ensure all projects are ready for implementation. Coordinate and hold meetings to elicit the status of needed items on the business implementation checklist and assign owners and target dates. Follow up as needed to ensure completion of necessary activities.- 50% of time Manage testing activities- 25% of time Manage reporting and implementation activities- 15% of time Manage Operations team communication, skill enhancement and procedures- 10% of time Manage special projects

Job Responsibilities:
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial lending and/or commercial compliance expertise
  • Supervisory/management experience strongly preferred
  • 5+ years loan operations, project management and/or testing experience preferred
  • Solid Working knowledge of all commercial loan areas
  • Ability to handle multiple high level and complex tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrate strong leadership in successfully managing cross-functional processes and multiple work streams
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and controls and how they fit into projects, enhancements and processes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective meeting facilitation skills
  • Experience presenting to and influencing management
  • Experience successfully leading an organization through change
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and gaining efficiencies
  • Must be able to successfully manage projects of a varied and complex nature
  • Must possess strong analytical, process, and people skills
  • Ability to apply judgment and evaluate trade-offs to negotiate solutions
  • Must possess the ability to work proactively and operate accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with variable and aggressive deadlines

  • Strong training and mentoring skills
  • High School Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
