Great opportunity for advancement!</p><p> </p><p><strong>Position </strong>: Project Manager Consultant</p><p><strong>Location :</strong> Auburn Hills / Detroit, MI</p><p><strong>Type : </strong> Contract </p><p><strong>Duration :</strong> 16 month </p><p><strong>Travel </strong> : 5-10% travel</p><p> </p><p><strong>Education Required</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree required</li></ul><p><strong>Education Nice to Have:</strong></p><ul><li>Master’s degree a plus</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Core Role Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and manage Global Supply Management (GSM) project tracker of actions</li><li>Align to ITI team timing of separation plan</li><li>Align to functional leads separation plans</li><li>Coordinate applications alignment to specific supplier agreements</li><li>Legal Entity (LE) changes, coordinate required actions</li><li>Risk liability, assure tracking and periodic evaluation</li><li>Track progress, and manage GSM inputs</li></ul><p><strong>Secondary Role Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Negotiating contracts, where requested, with suppliers to obtain the best prices possible while ensuring that the products and services meet quality standards</li><li>Reviewing bids from suppliers in order to identify price trends or other factors that might influence purchasing decisions</li><li>Developing long-term strategic plans for purchasing activities in order to maintain consistent supply of high-quality products and services at competitive prices</li><li>Reviewing requests for quotes from suppliers to ensure that pricing is competitive and meets company standards</li><li>Evaluating bids based on the supplier’s reputation, previous performance, and ability to meet deadlines</li></ul><p> <strong>Required Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>5-10 years’ of Corporate Services or IT Buyer/Manager experience</li><li>5+ years’ experience in global purchasing activities for these commodities (Engineering, HR, Finance, Marketing, Treasury, Legal, Audit)</li><li>Prior work experience of Divestitures or Spin-offs</li><li>Fluent in legal terms and conditions</li><li>Experience with contracting work</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills</li><li>Team player who thrives on a fast-paced and demanding environment</li><li>Individual contributor role with demonstrated leadership within cross-functional team, decision making and creative thinking skills</li></ul><p><strong><u>Preferred</u></strong></p><ul><li>Prior experience leading projects and project teams</li><li>P.M.
