Description Robert Half is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an easy-to-understand and concise format. This Desktop Support Technician role is best suited for problem solvers who prefer to work in a challenging and positive environment. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature and is based in the Romulus, Michigan, area.Your responsibilities- Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions- Deliver computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems- Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals- Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors Requirements - 1+ years of desktop support or other related experience- Expertise in Microsoft Office 365- Active Directory experience- Proficiency in Microsoft SCCM- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
