RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Engineer - Senior in Wellesley Hills, MA.Responsibilities: As a Software Engineer, you will write high quality code that is easy to maintain and test Build TypeScript and JavaScript client code using modern web frameworks and technologies (React, Redux, and Sass) Work with UX and Design to standardize and simplify UI development practices Build modular and reusable UI components Build and maintain front-end web application infrastructure Participate in the entire development life cycle, from concept to release Support strategic code sharing and architecture for one or more functional area Software Engineer will ensure design and architecture is extensible across multiple projects Work with CX team to come up with the best solutions and implementation plans for new features or changes to existing ones Assist as needed to support business applications by diagnosing complex production issues requiring extensive analysis and troubleshooting Software Engineer will maintain and improve our existing codebase Contribute to defining timelines and plans; Research and estimate feasibility, cost, time, and scope Research new features and technologies Fix production issues and maintain the code as neededREQUIREMENTS: 7+ years of software development experience 5+ years of experience implementing responsive designs for mobile, tablet, and desktop 3+ years of experience building solutions with ReactJS 2+ years of experience with web accessibility standards and practices Experience building design and component libraries Experience aligning platform architecture with security and data Experience with unit testing frameworks Understanding of web application design principles such as usability, performance, and security Problem solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent production releases Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred skills: Full stack Web developer experience Flexible and adaptable with the ability to align to changing priorities Adaptable to working on teams delivering in a Waterfall or agile style Customer obsession - customers are at the center of all we do Self-directed and proactiveThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
