Shop / Warehouse Help Wanted

Weld Power Generator is currently looking for the right candidate to fill the position of: Shop Helper

This position will report to the Warehouse Manager. Daily duties will include, but are not limited to:

WAREHOUSE:

Ensure shop / warehouse cleanliness.

Take daily inventory to ensure that the warehouse has adequate stock. Work with vendors to ensure replenishment is met.

Ensure the oil / coolant waste area is in clean / orderly condition.

Respond to issues that (may) occur after-hours that requires shop access. Rental Deployments, weekend deliveries etc.

Work with Warehouse Manager to put together job boxes for repairs.

Perform part runs / pickups when needed.

RENTAL FLEET:

Perform check-in procedures on rental equipment. Ensure rental generators are in a rentable condition - Work with the service department to schedule technicians accordingly for service / repairs.

Ensure accurate records of services / maintenance / repairs are logged / kept.

Ensure registrations and inspections are up to date.

When a rental generator is to be deployed, shop helper will be quarterbacking the deployment with the guidance of service department office personnel.

VEHICLE FLEET:

Ensure all vehicle inspection stickers / registrations are up to date.

Ensure accurate records of services / maintenance / repairs are logged / kept

Perform routine vehicle inspections for cleanliness / stock items

FLUID SAMPLING:

Compile Track & Ship Oil / Coolant / Fuel Sampling – with assistance from Service Dept personnel.

Keep track of and order sampling supplies (as needed).

This is a fulltime position.

Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm (1 hour lunch). Overtime is available.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Starting Salary: $25.00 / hour
