Product Owner-investment Analytics

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY, 1-2 DAYS ONSITE

• Act as a Product Owner to build/assemble an analytics platform integrating off-shelf products and in-house built tools.
• Interact will internal Investment Management customers primarily no code/low code users to identify needs and translate them to platform features and use those to shape platform roadmap
• Increase the adoption of Tableau, Power BI and other Business intelligence tools across Investment Management.
• Execute strategy to catalogue analytics artifacts and build governance processes around it
• Engage with other internal and external product managers to define and prioritize features and integration requirements of the analytics platform.
• Work closely with analytics platform, data & cloud infrastructure engineering teams to design and deliver platform features.
• Maintain/Contribute to the overall platform road map & release plans
• Apply various prioritization techniques to prioritize feature backlog for engineering teams to add continuous business value
• Lead the Analytics Platform agile squad and participate in agile ceremonies like backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, daily stand up and any breakout sessions.
• Plan and participate in periodic platform demo’s and present new features and functionality
• Manage the prioritization, logging and tracking of user related issues, defects, enhancements and work requests
• Prepare status reports and proposal presentation as required for management communication, sprint demos and communication with other partners
• Embrace innovation and generate new ideas to increase platform Adoption.

• 10+ years of experience in building products/application servicing multiple business units
• Excellent User experience design and Product prototyping skills
• Demonstrated experience working with Business intelligence and reporting tools and building dashboards and reports using BI tools.
• Experience in writing, organizing and prioritizing user stories and feature requirements
• Demonstrated experience in Agile product development with multiple scrum teams
• Exposure to data modelling, data lineage & SQL query optimization. Familiarity with python programming a big plus.
• Knowledge of Investment management industry and overall portfolio management processes.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and cloud native databases and business intelligence tools
• Good knowledge of BI tools and experience designing and building reporting dashboards - Tableau/Power BI or other equivalent tools.
• Exposure to snowflake would be an added advantage.
• Exposure to data analysis of structured and un-structured data and building data driven applications
• Exposure to data science and Machine Learning a big plus
• Conflict resolution and consensus building skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
