Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Needed in Lexington

We are seeking a reliable PCA for an adult male that can get around using a cane but because of partial paralysis to his right side, needs assistance in his home. He will need help with housekeeping, meal preparation, food shopping, medication pick-ups and pill box sorting, appointment scheduling/reminders, errands, and other tasks. Our ideal candidate will be professional, friendly, and patient.

Must haves:

You need to have a valid driver’s license

Own reliable transportation to be able to get to and from job and run short errands

Ability to cook and prepare meals

Perform house cleaning duties

Friendly and a great attitude

Warm and caring disposition

Hours are flexible, up to 35 hours a week. Payroll is through NorthEast Arc. You must be able to fill out online timesheets.

Qualifications:

Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

Salary: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Flexible Schedule: Monday to Friday
